Only $79 per roll!
We received a large amount of RAAMmat that does not quite meet our strict temperature requirements, all other aspects are just fine. It was manf last year and rejected for sale by us, then sat in a warehouse for some time and now we have decided, after further testing, it is ok to use on the floor of a vehicle only, anywhere else will be at your own risk if it happened to fail(in most cases it probably will not fail but we are not taking any chances here;)
It has passed tests up to 175 degrees for 24 hours straight, 185 degrees for 18 hours, any higher it may start to melt and slide down on vertical or upside down surfaces. On the floor it should be fine but I would be careful in a vehicle known to have really hot floors.
Once this is gone we do not expect to have it again as have made major changes to the formula since this was produced some time ago.

Tracking number delays.
We had to switch to an automated tracking number update program but it seems to not be fully functional, terribly sorry for any that did not recieve their numbers. I will go back to manually sending them again until this gets resolved.

New to sound deadening a vehicle?
Experienced but want to do a better job?
Please read the HOW TO guide and consider this:
Most vehicles, basic install, will need 1 roll BXT, 3 yards ensolite, 1 can adhesive.
Smaller to medium size vehicles going all out, bigger vehicles middle level+, 2 rolls, 6 yards, 3 cans adhesive.
Very large vehicles like a full size SUV going totally all out, 3 rolls, 9 yards, 3 cans.
We have a very intense new website in the works(very very costly and difficult to perfect) that will take my 40 years of modding cars and trucks info in my head and put it where you can access it, get what you need, install guides, the works. There is no other site like it, but 8 months in the making so far and still not done yet!
Once it is I will be able to take care of the special issues that come up and help all of you achieve your goals far better.
Sincerely,
Rick
We recommend 3 yards of ensolite per roll of RAAMmat, 4 at the very most and 1 can adhesive per 2.5 yards of ensolite, if careful one can may cover 3 yards but it is a close call so I recommend 2 cans for 4-5 yards and 3 cans for 6-8 yards.

We have not raised our prices in 2.5 years and were planning on a cost increase the first of the year but have decided we just cannot do it, really do not like raisging prices!! Sales are growing briskly and the higher volume is helping offset the reduced profit margin caused by 7 manf cost increases in of our BXT RAAMmat during that time.
see what some top forum members have to say!
When we look around the Web, one of the things we have noticed is the wide range in shipping and handling costs. Sound deadening mat is heavy stuff, so shipping can really add up.
When you are checking prices, be sure to look at both the product price and shipping combined. We have seen some very low prices for mat, but when you add the S&H costs, the price you end up paying goes through the roof.
RAAMaudio only charges the actual cost to ship, no handling, packaging, etc, charges tacted on, saves you even more money;)
We will never pad our prices by inflating hidden costs.

RAAMaudio
I decided to use RAAMmat because of all of the good things I heard about the product and Ensolite as well - and you really can't beat the price. I applied RAAMmat and Ensolite to my tC with ease and the help of Rick going in-depth about the car and what he knew about the car and its primary places to work on. Application process was very simple, no cuts on my hands, no bad smells, just deadener in all its bliss.
Ensolite was just as good, easy to apply and worked wonders. End result was a fantastic deadening job, sure I needed to put a little more in some places, but that's not a fault of the product, its a fault of the user.
I'm very very happy with my use of Ricks product's and I wouldn't shy away from doing any future business with him on any other cars. Top notch product, and high class guy.
Rick at RAAMaudio has been the biggest help to our Db Drag team, He sponsored us when no one else would, He believed in us, and with that we took two of our team mates to finals in 2005. Ricks product is excellent there is no doubt, but where he shines is his customer service and one of the nicest people I have encountered in car audio.
My friend Aaron and I RAAMmated his Grand Am Se. We started out with a Tink-Tink and ended up with a Thunk after several layers of Raammat. No more rattles and a decided improvement in Thump. Aaron's subwoofer and mid-bass were hitting great!!
Ensolite, helped tremendously with the mid-range !
Thank You Rick
I've used almost all of the sound deadener out there, from the very expensive to the inexpensive. I prefer RAAMmat hands down over any of them, the price/performance ratio cannot be beat. It's very easy to work with and is an excellent product. Dealing with Rick was a pleasure - he took the time to answer all of my questions and found a solution for me that worked within my budget. Great product, great owner, what more could you ask for?
Phenomenally awesome doesn't even do RAAMmat justice. I love RAAMmat and I have used it in at least 4 installs personally and recommended it to dozens of other people. I do not know of a single person I have pointed towards RAAMmat that has not had his expectations met and exceeded in spades.
I have had countless hours of conversations and spent days picking Rick's brain. He never tires of answering the dumbest sounding questions and seems to truly enjoy helping people learn. I cannot express enough how much Rick is an awesome businessman and a great human being. I recommend him to everyone in need of deadening materials and knowledge hands-down. He is the best.
I was introduced to RAAMmat by my friend, Ben (Phreaxer). I was always under the impression that Dynamat was the ONLY high quality sound deadener sold today. Boy, was I wrong! Not only is RAAMmat 's quality as good, if not better than Dynamat, it is easier to work with, has better adhesive properties, doesn't cut up my hands, and best of all...it costs SOOOO much less!
It doesn't hurt that Rick, owner of RAAMaudio, is a complete pleasure to deal with. Customer service is important to me whenever I make any significant purchase. My overall experience with RAAMmat and RAAMaudio has been nothing less than perfect!
Thanks, Rick, you have won another life-long customer! I am sharing my RAAMmat testimony with everyone I run into who is looking for the best in sound deadening material.
I've used RAAMmat in a number of installs, and I've had great results with all of them. Not once have I had the product fall off, or leave a bad smell. It's also VERY easy to work with. I've used other products and they've left me with numerous cuts on my hands. I just got finished using a roll of RAAMmat and I did not get a single cut on my hands.
For the money, there really is no other way to go than RAAMmat. Rick has done the research and supplies a product that impossible to beat for the money. Not only is RAAMmat an excellent product/value, but Ensolite foam works GREAT as well, and he has the cheapest prices (I've searched, he DOES have the best prices). Ensolite foam has helped turn my rattle trap into a Lexus :D Also the spray adhesive he sells works great for gluing the Ensolite foam to the RAAMmat.
If you're still debating on what product to use, I would seriously consider using RAAMmat. It's butyl based, 60 mil thick, very flexible, doesn't cut your hands, WILL NOT fall off and doesn't stink. What else compares to this for the price? Nothing.
Rick is one of the most honest, professional, passionate, and most caring individuals I have ever known. I am truly honored to have met and known him.
Also, Raammat will deliver the best bang for your buck guaranteed! You can't beat the quantity and quality of mat you get for the price!
Hi RICK It's Ben again, just letting you know I came in third place in the NISMO soundoff contest. Thanks to your BXT, everything was great. I didn't know they were so big on rattling. (Judges) Man, they were right at your trunk, to see if any rattling was made by the rear licence plate., and upper trunk. I guess this was new this year, I don't know, but a QUIET car is a RAAMaudio car.
Thanks Rick for everything. By you helping me out before with my questions, it really help me a lot. You are the BEST, when it come to customer service. BXT is AWESOME#1! Oh Rick, at the contest, it was over 100F, and your BXT was holding on, but I saw others, with Dynamat, and other brands, started to peel. WOW! you were right, your BXT, is the best in town.
